New Zealand Certificate in Tourism (Level 4)

Domestic Students

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 17 years of age or turning 17 during the course of study

  • Have achieved a minimum of NCEA Level 2 or a Level 3 qualification in Tourism & Travel

Special admission may be granted to applicants aged 20 and over with no formal qualifications but who have evidence of relevant prior learning and work experience.

International Students 

Applicants must: 

  • Be 18 or over and

  • Have achieved a secondary education standard equivalent to a minimum of NCEA Level 1 (for example a lower secondary education certificate in Greece, Grade 10 of an Indian Education Board, or a UK GCSE of lower than grade C) 

In addition to the above entry requirements students must have internationally recognised English proficiency: IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5.
