New Zealand School of Tourism students were a part of the operations team behind the Tourism Summit Aotearoa and New Zealand Tourism Awards Dinner, held in Hamilton.
This is the largest national tourism event that brings together leaders in business and government from across New Zealand.
The students had the opportunity to gain a breadth of industry experience, as well as meet Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who spoke at the event.
Aligned with the theme – Innovation, inspiration, and impact – stakeholders discussed how to create a better future for the tourism industry.
The students had the opportunity to better understand industry issues as they heard speeches from industry leaders.
